Make sure your voice is counted! Membership in DBFA supports family life downtown and quantifies our growing demographic, sending a message to the city and business community that downtown families merit attention and investment. 

Please support the work of the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance by becoming a member today. Your membership helps support a variety of DBFA's events and services, including our parent education seminars, family events, school fairs, website resources, DBFA-sponsored parties, and advocacy efforts for green space, strong schools, and urban development.

All DBFA members receive valuable benefits including:

  • Invitations to DBFA's free Members Only Skating and Pool Parties.
  • Special discounts on memberships and admissions to local cultural organizations, businesses, and service providers in downtown Baltimore.
  • Discounts to DBFA special events, such as Girls' Night Out at the Movies, Guys' Night Out Poker Tournament, Orioles games, and more.
  • If you are expecting your first baby or are a new, first-time parent with a baby under 12 months, DBFA has a special membership for you! Join DBFA at any level (starting at $25), and you will receive DBFA onesie.
  • The chance to support a growing network of families and help downtown Baltimore communities thrive.

One-year memberships are offered to families and individuals at the following giving levels:

  • $25 DBFA Membership (You will receive the benefits listed above plus a decal, membership card, our e-newsletters, and recognition in the annual funder's report.)
  • $50 DBFA Membership (The above plus a DBFA drawstring backpack.)
  • $100 DBFA Membership (The above plus an organic cotton DBFA t-shirt for parent or child.)
  • $250 DBFA Membership (The above plus a reusable DBFA grocery totebag.)
  • $500 DBFA Membership (Your family will be recognized as a Partner of DBFA and you will receive the above plus two tickets to our fundraiser.)
  • $1,000 DBFA Membership (The above plus special recognition in the annual funder's report.) 

Memberships are also offered in monthly reoccurring payments at the following giving levels:

  • DBFA Membership for $5/month for 12 months (You will receive the benefits listed above plus a decal, membership card, our e-newsletters, recognition in the annual funder's report, and a DBFA drawstring backpack.)
  • DBFA Membership for $25/month for 12 months (The above plus an organic cotton DBFA t-shirt for parent or child.)
  • DBFA Membership for $50/month for 12 months (Your family will be recognized as a  Partner of DBFA and you will receive the above plus two tickets to our fundraiser.)
  • DBFA Membership for $100/month for 12 months (The above plus special recognition in the annual funder's report.)

Our online donations are handled by PayPal, a secure payment site that accepts multiple credit and debit cards. Once you decide what level suits your family, please join online by either making an annual donation or a monthly reoccurring donation or if you prefer, you can download a PDF membership form and mail it in with a check or money order.

Matching Gifts

Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar! Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation's value. Check with your company or visit this online directory of matching gifts to find out if your company will match your contribution to DBFA. If you have questions about your company's matching gift program, please contact your personnel office.
