DBFA, with the help of community activists, was able to successfully bring back partial “family swim” morning hours at the Patterson Park and Riverside Park pools. DBFA President Judy O’Brien wrote a letter to various city officials reminding them of the importance of the pool to downtown families and of keeping families in the city. Residents in the Patterson Park and Federal Hill areas, which include Riverside Park, also collected signatures and sent them to city decision makers, creating an impact noticed by city officials.

Family Swim: 10 a.m.– 11:30 a.m.
Public Hours: 12 p.m.–7 p.m.

Saturday
12 p.m.–7 p.m.

Sunday
1 p.m.–6 p.m.
